Cable Car of “Vila Nova de Gaia”, Portugal

On April 1, 2011, the “Vila Nova de Gaia” Cable Car in Portugal, built expressly for tourist purposes opened to the public.

On its way along the bank of the “Duoro” River it crosses a distance of 562 meters connecting the Garden of the Moor with the “Cais de Gaia”.

During the trip that lasts about 5 minutes you can enjoy spectacular views not only of the Vila Nova de Gaia, but also of Porto.
