Avenue of One Hundred Fountains, Villa d’Este in Tivoli

In the Villa d’Este, the path that leads and connects the Oval and Rometta fountains is known as the “Paseo” or the “Avenida de las Cien Fuentes”. There are one hundred fountains that flank the path between both fountains.

The walk covers a distance of 100 meters, with three levels and parallel channels from which a constant stream of water flows. The upper level is adorned by different sculptures. The marble of the fountains, today is covered by vegetation.

Walking along these 100 meters, with the sound of a hundred fountains, is definitely a wonderful experience.
