Peñaflor Palace in Ecija, Sevilla Province, also known as the “long balconies” was built in the eighteenth century. Its facade, showcases an elaborate decor, very baroque with an exquisite use of fictitious architecture.
The Lookout tower, in a square shape, helps to break a little the horizontality of the building. It was the family Peñaflor’s residence until 1958, when the widow marquise died childless. The Écija City Council in 1992 bought land and palace of the Marchioness.
