Palace of the Marquises of Benamejí Courtyard

The main courtyard of the Palace of the Marquises of Benamejí, now Historic Municipal Museum in Ecija, Province of Seville, Spain, consists of a double gallery of arches on marble columns. One finds in its center a marble fountain built following Baroque lines. On the lower floor arches are semicircular and on the upper floor they are similar, although slightly smaller. Decorative and structural elements cornices and moldings are highlighted with color, accentuating the structural composition.
