The “Fontana di Diana di Efeso”, also known as the Fountain of Mother Nature, is located nowadays at the opposite end of the “Palazzo d’Este” and in the line of sight of the Fountain of the Dragons. It was originally next to the “Fontana dell’Organo”.
The central sculpture of the fountain is a replica of the classical Roman statue of “Diana di Efeso” that is currently in the National Museum of Naples. The Diana or Mother Nature sprouts water from her breasts as she is viewed in the niche of the cave where she is found.
