In the Real Alcazar in Seville, crossing the “Puerta del Privilege”, one gains access to the “Grutesco” gallery. Behind the Mercury pond a long wall rises in northwest-southeast direction through the gardens and dividing the green into two areas, the primitive gardens and the old area of orchards which was also turned into gardens in the late nineteenth century. In the same we find an abundance of orange and lemon trees. This wall also has an upper gallery which you can visit and get a very nice view of the gardens.
