La Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze, fue creada en el año 1885 para reemplazar la biblioteca “Magliabechiana” del año 1747. La Biblioteca se encuentra muy cerca de la Piazza di Santa Croce, en la intersección de la Via Antonio Magliabechi con la Corso dei Tintori.
Cerca de cumplir 500 años, la re-apertura tan esperada de la Iglesia San José del Viejo San Juan, se dio el Viernes, 19 de marzo de 2021. La fecha ideal, coincidiendo con la celebración del Año de San José, designación hecha por el Papa Francisco, con motivo de celebrarse los 150 años de ser este declarado patrón de la Iglesia universal. Before starting the work to create the fabulous fountains of the «Villa d’Este», it was necessary to convert into a great palace what had been, the monastery and cloister where Benedictines and Franciscans lived. The official residence of the governor of Tivoli needed to be a dignified palace, not only to accommodate renowned families such as the D’Estes and Borgias, but also worthy of a Cardinal who aspired to be Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. En el siglo XVII, la Congregación del Oratorio de San Felipe Neri de Roma, llegó a Firenze cuando el Papa Urbano VIII les obsequió un predio de terreno en la Piazza San Firenze que incluyó una iglesia del mismo nombre. Los Oratorianos o Padres Filipenses tuvieron la misión de construir un gran complejo en este lugar. In the 17th century, the Congregation of the Oratory of Saint Phillip Neri in Rome arrived at Firenze when Pope Urban VIII presented them with a plot of land in «Piazza San Firenze» that included a church of the same name. The Oratorians or Philippians Fathers had the mission of building a large complex on the spot. La Chiesa Santa Maria dei Monti o ai Monte se ubica en el districto de Monti en Roma, una de las secciones más antiguas y grandes de la ciudad. El Monti surge a los pies de cuatro de las siete lomas de Roma; Esquiline, Viminal, Quirinal y Coelian. The Monti rises from the foot of four of the seven hills of Rome; Esquiline, Viminal, Quirinal and Coelian.
